Who are we?

Our program is designed for high school dancers who aspire to pursue careers in various dance fields, including performance, choreography, teaching, and dance therapy. We offer personalized guidance and valuable opportunities to explore these pathways, helping students prepare for a successful professional dance career.

Led by Reggie Oliver (a.k.a. Reggie.O), an accomplished professional dancer, choreographer, and instructor, our program provides firsthand insight into the dance industry. Reggie’s journey began right after high school, with minimal support and resources. Through determination, he learned the ropes of the entertainment industry and found ways to thrive both financially and artistically, ultimately reaching the level of success he enjoys today.

Reggie is deeply passionate about helping students discover their unique dance paths after high school, as he sees a reflection of his own journey in each young dancer he mentors.

Why Standing O?

The Standing O Mentorship Program offers students and their families a unique opportunity to explore the many facets of the dance industry in depth, with a focus on helping dancers thrive in their chosen paths. This program provides invaluable insights into building a successful career, mastering essential strategies for long-term growth, and achieving a healthy work-life balance through personalized guidance and mentorship.

Through tailored support, dancers will gain the tools and knowledge needed to navigate the industry with confidence, setting themselves up for lasting success as they transition into adulthood and advance in their dance careers. The program also offers ongoing access to resources and information, allowing dancers to revisit valuable content as they continue their journey, long after they have achieved the success they seek.

COMMITMENT

This program runs from January through June, with session dates and times posted three months at a time to ensure dancers have ample time to integrate them into their schedules. If a dancer is unable to attend a session, they will still have full access to all covered material and the session recordings.

Upon registration, dancers will receive detailed information based on their selected package, including additional dates for pop-up sessions, photography sessions, and one-on-one consultations. The program is designed to offer flexibility, allowing dancers to balance their commitments to school, social life, and personal growth.

Each session will be held once a month for 2 hours and 30 minutes, supplemented by weekly check-ins and assignments to enhance the dancer's experience and support their individual journey. At the end of the program, there will be a celebratory ceremony to honor each dancer’s dedication and completion of the program.
